GOLDEN SoFlat Matte Acrylic line was developed to limit the amount of texture and glare seen with non-matte finishing colors. With a beautiful flowing consistency, artists will notice excellent coverage along with leveling capabilities while drying.

Traditionally matte colors are made using gouache due to its matte and opaque qualities, however it does not provide a strong film. GOLDENs SoFlat formula provides a modern, more durable surface. The low viscosity of GOLDENs SoFlat Matte line is also compatible with many GOLDEN colors and mediums.

GOLDEN SoFlat Matte colors are able to be applied to a variety of media. Artists will see a more uniform result when applied to smooth surfaces as opposed to textured. Non-porous materials, like glass or metal, may require additional surface preparation to improve paint adhesion.
