Gamblins Cold Pressed Linseed Oil is a traditional type oil of its kind. Using cold pressed as opposed to refined linseed oil will slow drying and increase yellowing.
When considering using Gamblins Cold Pressed Linseed Oil for modifying painting mediums and colors, Gamblin recommends Refined Linseed Oil or Poppy Oil instead of Cold Pressed. Use cold pressed sparingly with equal parts Gamsol to create a traditional, slow-drying, low-viscosity painting medium.
