Hugo Pottery Clay - Cone 02-9. This is a an all purpose stoneware clay with a wide firing range for throwing and modeling. At a low temperature, Hugo fires to a buff color; at C/9, it fires to a soft grey. An economical clay ideal for schools as well as the beginner potter.
Recommended bisque firing Cone 02. Shrinkage: 9% at Cone 02, Absorption: 5% at Cone 02. Shrinkage: 12% at Cone 9, Absorption: 3% at Cone 9.
