Gessobord is a museum quality wood panel. Not only is it acid-free, but it is also prepared with a lightly textured, acrylic gesso coating. This tough surface can withstand rigorous palette knife techniques and is able to support heavy applications of paint without the bounce of canvas.
This panel is also delicate enough for fluid brush strokes, making it ideal for glazing, portraiture, and tight detail work.
