Gamblins FastMatte line is completely compatible with both Gamblins traditional oils and painting mediums. To thin your Fastmatte oil colors, Gamblin recommends using a mixture of equal parts Gamblin Galkyd and Gamsol. When used sparingly, this combination will thin colors without slowing drying times and will not significantly increase gloss.
