Phthalo Blue: This warm blue was initially made in the 1920's, for printmaking ink (cyan) to replace Prussian Blue. Along with clean, pure masstone and transparency, Phthalo Blue contains a high tinting strength. Phthalo Blue also provides an excellent choice for primary color-mixing systems.
