Cretacolor Mega Graphite is an extra-thick graphite pencil built around a substantial 5.5 mm lead. The oversized graphite core opens up a wide range of applications, from broad expressive strokes and shading to traditional drawing and sketching. Cretacolor offers Mega Graphite in five grades: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 9B.

The 4B grade provides a soft graphite laydown well suited to darker values, expressive lines, shading and tonal work while retaining the control of a traditional wood-cased pencil.
