Cretacolor Monolith Graphite is made from solid graphite material covered only by a thin layer of lacquer, eliminating the traditional wooden casing and providing a versatile drawing surface from tip to barrel.

Its unique construction allows artists to create both broad applications and fine marks with the same pencil, while still sharpening like a conventional pencil.
