Cretacolor Monolith Graphite takes the traditional graphite pencil in a different direction: the pencil consists of pure graphite material covered only by a thin layer of lacquer, giving artists significantly more usable drawing material than a traditional wood-cased pencil.

Its solid construction allows artists to create both broad and fine applications with the same pencil. It sharpens like a conventional pencil while offering the versatility of a woodless graphite drawing tool.
