Cretacolor Monolith Graphite takes the traditional graphite pencil in a different direction: the pencil consists of pure graphite material covered only by a thin layer of lacquer, eliminating the conventional wooden casing.

That solid graphite construction allows artists to create both broad areas of tone and fine, controlled marks with the same pencil. The 6B grade provides a soft, dark graphite ideal for expressive sketching, rich shading and building deep tonal values.
