Cretacolor Pastel Carré Hard Pastels are unfired, oil-free pastel crayons with full pigmentation for brilliant color and special lightfastness. They can be mixed, smudged and painted with water, offering plenty of flexibility for pastel and mixed-media techniques.

The 7 × 7 mm square profile gives artists broad sides for covering larger areas and defined edges for sharp lines and precise contours. Each stick measures 72 mm long, and fixation is necessary for finished work.
