Cretacolor White Chalk Dry is an artist pencil designed to work beautifully alongside traditional sketching materials. Its dry formulation is excellent for combining with chalk, sanguine and sepia, making it especially useful for classical drawing and mixed sketching techniques.

Color tones can be lightened through blending and smudging, allowing artists to build highlights, soften transitions and introduce lighter values into drawings. The White Chalk Dry pencil is available in soft and medium hardnesses; this pencil is the Medium version.
