🌈🎨A compact introduction to the wonderfully expressive world of dry pastel. The Cretacolor Pastel Carré Starter Set brings together12 assorted colors in a convenient cardboard box, giving artists a versatile starter palette for sketching, layering, blending, and colorful pastel drawing.
The squareCarré format isn't just pretty geometry — its shape gives artists multiple ways to work. Use the broad side for generous areas of color, an edge for narrower strokes, or a corner for finer lines and details.
The assorted palette provides a practical selection for exploring color, value, layering, and blending without committing to one of those enormous sets that immediately takes over half the studio. 😂
The square profile makes these pastels especially versatile.
SIDE → Broad areas, backgrounds & sweeping strokes
EDGE → Controlled lines, hatching & smaller shapes
CORNER → Fine accents & details
Rotate the pastel as you work and one stick can move easily between broad expressive passages and more precise mark-making.
Twelve colors, three useful drawing surfaces on every stick, and plenty of room to experiment. 🌈 Whether you're discovering pastel for the first time or looking for a compact assortment to toss into your drawing kit, this Pastel Carré Starter Set is an easy way to start blending, layering, and making a glorious colorful mess. 🦝🎨
